Arnaldo Zanella was born in 1949 in S.Erasmo, a small island in the Venetian lagoon and has loved glass since childhood. During the 1950s and 60s, the most important firm in Murano was Seguso Vetri d'arte and it was here that Arnaldo started to work alongside masters, Barbini, Seguso, Nason, Signoretto and many others. Angelo Seguso decided to take him on and when Pino Signoretto opened his own glasswork studio, Arnaldo joined this new venture. In 1985, he opened a glasswork studio, Andromeda and became a true innovator of sculpted glass. His love of nature, led him to spend as much time as he could studying and re-producing animals, above all, horses. Arnaldo Zanella's work is much appreciated by the connoisseurs all over the World.
This is a stunning statement centrepiece and conversation starter that looks amazing in its own space whether that be on a dining table, console table or large mantle.
